You're buying a well-maintained, expanded Gretsch kit with extra 12" and 10" toms. This is a shell pack, so no extra hardware or cymbals feature the set; however, I will certainly include the mounting hardware for the toms.
I've played and loved this kit in jazz and the occasional rock gigs and I thoroughly upkeep it, consisting of stripping the toms and bass down every few months and oiling/DW -40'ing lugs, nuts, rims, etc. The shells are 6-ply mahogany for that gorgeous Gretsch warmth. The 2 add-on toms, new, are valued at close to $500. You can set up the kit for a 4, 5, or 6 piece set-up.
Heads are Evans EC2 batter and EC Resonant. Configuration is: 16x18 bass; 8x10 tom; 2 8x12 toms; 14x14 floor tom. No snare is included.
I'm upgrading to a larger rock kit and would such as to keep this as a practice kit, however I actually do not require two drum sets. Rate is firm. A brand-new Catalina 4-piece retails for $679 at nearly all the online stores. This one is close to new and in exceptional condition. I can consist of a photo of the set-up kit upon demand.
Link to a studio album we recorded a few years ago showcasing this exact same kit:.
